KIMBERM MICRO 380Completely cured a FTF issue on my Micro .380. This slide stop has a slightly different magazine catch tab than the original that came in my Kimber Micro .380. This one completely cured the original’s tendency to lock the slide with rounds still in the magazine. The original would sometimes get actuated by the next round in the magazine.All 3 magazines I measured are Kimber factory mags. I really believe this is a 3 part problem and likely unless Kimber addresses the first, the others will resurface. Issue #1 - The gun frame at the magazine well measures 0.4093" and must be slightly larger than the magazine to allow proper feed and drop when released.I've had mainly loading issues with my M380 so I will follow your progress on this thread. My micro has been back to Kimber twice and it's almost problem free now after 1600 rounds. Love the little pistol though, it's so fun to shoot. There might be something difficult about getting into the Micro to do any work. I don't know. A standard 1911, I can detail strip it blindfolded.But my gf left her .380 in the jeep this fall and it got pretty rusted with the weather. I've cleaned it as good as I can and removed all the rust. Feels phenomenal again. However the hammer will not release from cocked position.
