Feb 18, 2023 · It is a little thinner and feels more rounded. The grip is just perfect. Not too aggressive, but just the right amount of ‘grit’. If they didn’t offer the Tac grip, I literally would not have bought a staccato. The 4 guys I know who have staccatos, all have the standard Gen2 grip. They ALL prefer the Tac grip on mine. Newer model P’s come with the blended safeties. The grip lacks quite a bit but isn’t unusable. Shoot it for a thousand rounds or so and if you don’t like it, get a grippier one. I will say, the new staccato grip isn’t mind blowing for what they are charging. It’s a very minor upgrade.
