My taillights are halos with their own resistors. From what I understand, hyperflash harness is just to deal with front turn signals and it won't even stop hazards from hyperflashing. So there are some 3157 LEDs that are described as "no hyperflash", they have some internal circuitry as opposed to being dumb LEDs.
