The tooltip function should implement two methods, .show (d) and .hide (), that will be called when the tooltip should be made visible or hidden respectively. The .show method takes a single argument, which is the flamegraph frame. The d3-flame-graph package includes a simple tooltip function, flamegraph.tooltip.defaultFlamegraphTooltip ().
