Doing my single player stuff now that 3.0 has dropped and have been stuck trying to figure out where to build my base in the North. Any ideas would be appreciated. There is a couple of nice spots in the mountains south of the dead mounds. Real close to brimstone lake, absurd amounts of iron, and close to the best thrall camp and the obelisk.Best part is, you can get there quite easily (some spiders, like 3 or 4 over the whole trip, but getting a bow first is an option and then that's really no issue) very early on.
