38 weeks and 3 cm dilated

33 weeks: 3cm dilated and 50% effaced. Earlier this week I started having contractions but they went away after an hour or so. Yesterday I mentioned it to my ob at my regular appt and she decided to check for dilation. She said I was 2-3cm dilated and referred me to labor and delivery for monitoring.

I was induced for medical reasons starting at 1am at 38+1. I was 0cm, not soft, nada, no movement whatsoever toward baby eviction. My body overreacted to the cytotec and cervadil so I got my epidural at 0cm around 2pm due to intense pain making cervical checks impossible. Baby was born at 4pm on 38+2. It took forever.Went into L&D at 3:30 this morning with painful contractions every 7 minutes or so. Got a non-stress test and physical exam and I'm 2cm. dilated and soft.
